Questions before you resize
Should I crop or pad my photo?
Crop fills the frame but loses edges. Fit keeps the whole photo with a blurred or solid background. That padding is part of the exported frame and may move when animated.
How do I turn a 4:3 photo into 9:16 without cutting the subject?
Choose 9:16 and a Fit mode. The tool scales the whole photo without stretching, then fills the remaining space. Check the preview before downloading.
Why use 16:9 or 9:16 for Veo?
Google and Replicate list those shapes for Veo 3.1. Replicate recommends 1280×720 or 720×1280 for Fast; fal says it crops other shapes. See the linked route sources, checked 2026-10-27.
What if my exported file is too large?
imgmov accepts files up to 5 MB. JPEG export reduces quality until it is below that cap. PNG can be larger; switch to JPEG or reduce custom dimensions if its size check does not pass.
